Hypothyroidism can cause depression at any stage of your life. In preganancy is very common, besides a low T4 level can cause development problems in your baby. Antidepressants are safe for use during pregnancy. They usually take about 3 weeks to cause full effect so be patient. Your mood influences your baby, so it’s much better to be happy!
